Welcome to the Suffolk Punch Trust Web Site

The decision by HM Prison Service to sell the farm at Hollesley has provided the Trust with a "once in a lifetime opportunity" to create an Education and Heritage Centre on the site which has been the home of the Suffolk Punch Hollesley Bay Colony Stud for over 100 years.
Securing the long term future of the Colony Stud is also an important Trust objective. By combining the horses with the unique living landscape of the Suffolk coast an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and a site of special scientific interest (SSSI) the Trust can provide educational and heritage experiences.
School children, especially those in inner city areas, socially disadvantaged or excluded groups, benefit greatly from visiting the Trust facilities at Hollesley.
