Leaving a gift to the Suffolk Punch Trust in your will would help to secure the long term future of the Colony Stud which combines the horses with the unique living landscape of the Suffolk coast – an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and a site of special scientific interest (SSI), thereby providing educational and heritage experience and learning programmes which are not available elsewhere.

School children, especially those in inner city areas, socially disadvantaged or excluded groups will benefit from visiting the Trust facilities at Hollesley. The Trust will also continue to support HM Prison Service resettlement programmes providing work, rural craft training, formal conservation and environmental training and other animal and farm related skills to prisoners.

Above all, the visitor attraction will allow the general public access to the horses, the wildlife and environment in this especially lovely area which ranges from heath land to sea marsh and the shore. Nearly 200 acres will be switched from agriculture to a public park for the enjoyment of generations to come.
